Village Riesling from old vines on the gravel plain of Scherwiller, formed by the Villé valley: light soil, low in clay, roots pushed deep. Hand-harvested, a brief skin maceration giving it a touch of orange in the glass, then a year in steel on the lees. Mineral, saline, citrus-driven and long, with peach, apricot and almond underneath.
