A white vermouth from Turin, in the style of Vermouth di Torino, made on Cortese and Moscato. Mauro Vergano worked from the classic Turin recipe of 1786 and refined it through many test batches. Wormwood and other bitter herbs, in larger quantities than most commercial bianco vermouths, are steeped in neutral alcohol, sweetened with white cane sugar and blended into the wine. Non-vintage, 750ml. A clean, bittersweet aperitif, best served on ice. It’s great in cocktails too, since its natural acidity brings a lot of balance.
