Il Postino is a Trebbiano from vineyards around Pianella and Moscufo in Abruzzo, planted on clay and limestone soils. The grapes are whole-cluster pressed and fermented before aging in a combination of stainless steel and older wooden barrels. The wine shows citrus peel, white flowers, and wild herbs, with lively acidity and a subtle chalky texture. Freshness and mineral salinity define the finish.
