This Poulsard from the village of Pupillin in Jura shows a richer and more powerful side of the variety. The grapes are destemmed and fermented with gentle extraction to maintain aromatic lift while building structure. In the glass it reveals deeper red fruit, subtle spice, and an earthy complexity typical of the region. While still lively and drinkable, this vintage shows more concentration and body than the delicate expressions Poulsard is often known for.
