100% macerated Pinot Gris from 25-year-old vines planted on the emblematic limestone soils of Rosheim. After hand-harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and macerated for 6 to 8 days and then aged for 8 months in Alsatian foudres. The wine has a beautiful red hue thanks to its reddish-grey skins and smells of ripe red fruits, stewed plums, and rosehip. The palate has a nice, slightly meaty texture balanced by the acidity. The finish reveals some spice and minerality.
