At a 2022 Amsterdam tasting, Bouju told us his wines only really showed themselves once the primary fruit had elapsed. The warm 2020 vintage bears that out completely: rich, concentrated dark cherry, sous-bois and dried herbs, with a long mineral finish and the unmistakable energy of very old vines.
