Single-parcel Vin Jaune from La Vasée, a cold, clay-rich, marl-dominated site in Arbois that retains water and preserves acidity even in warm years. The 2016 was earmarked early for Vin Jaune due to its tension. The wine was aged sous voile in neutral barrels for a slow and steady flor development. Compared to Tissot’s limestone parcels, La Vasée delivers is more powerful and nuttier in profile.
