Savagnin "Puits-Saint-Pierre"

This micro-parcel of 0.15 hectares, planted 85+ years ago on grey marl soils, lies just under Château-Chalon’s famous cliff, overlooking the Côte de Beaune. Hand-harvested and aged on lees in old oak for 3.5 years with irregular topping up, the wine is bottled without sulfur, fining, or filtration. A remarkable wine from one of our favourite growers. We simply love all his 2020’s!
