La Ginestra is one of the producers we love visiting the most! They run a true polycultural project alongside their vines including olive trees, cattle, honeybees and other crops. A stay at their farm is warmly recommended. This Chianti is made from 100% organically farmed Sangiovese grapes grown in the hills of San Casciano in Val di Pesa. The calcareous clay soils lend structure and freshness to the wine. Fermented spontaneously in stainless steel and bottled unfiltered with no added sulfites, the 2021 vintage expresses the classic character of Chianti with a slight fizz adding a lively edge.
