Cabernet Franc from the Les Vins de la Gabare project (Nicolas Réau with partner growers), farmed organically and fermented with native yeasts, then raised in neutral vessels to keep it pure and energetic. The nose is vibrant and precise — redcurrant, wild cherry, and cranberry — woven with classic Loire vegetal tones of bell-pepper and tomato stems. On the palate, juicy red fruit rides crunchy acidity, while an earthy depth (graphite, forest floor, a hint of dried herbs) adds length. Fine, lightly grippy tannins and a subtle mineral snap make it a refreshing, lightly chillable Loire red that still carries real substance.
