A field blend of nine white varieties from vineyards around Sion, planted on schist, limestone and glacial moraine soils. The fruit sees around 28 days of maceration in direct-press Pinot Noir before ageing in old barrels, with no additions. Aromatically it moves between stone fruit, tropical notes and light spice, while the palate has more structure than the nose first suggests. Textural and lively, with fresh acidity and a faint tannic bite, it is an orange wine with real lift rather than weight.
