OVARIUS is a vintage, mouth-blown wine carafe originally made in the Jura in the early 2000’s up until about 2015.

Each piece is individually made using traditional glassblowing techniques. It is the result of research into the “resonance” and kinetic energy of wine. The carafe is designed to increase the intensity and amount of circular movement of the wine, leading to faster decantation than with a traditional carafe. Softer tannins and reduced austerity for reds, greater minerality and openness for whites.

No two are exactly alike.
