This pure expression of Pinot Noir comes from Phelan Farm’s meticulously farmed vineyards, planted on volcanic and alluvial soils near Steiner Creek. Whole-cluster fermentation in open-top fermenters and aging in neutral oak barrels highlight the grape’s delicate character. Crafted without fining, filtration, or added sulfur, the wine is aromatic and elegant, with bright cherry and cranberry notes, hints of forest floor, and a fine mineral backbone.
