This Pinot Noir comes from southeast-facing vineyards planted in 1994 on clay-limestone soils near Yonne. Whole clusters undergo 20–35 days of carbonic maceration, with ageing in old barrels for 8–20 months. Bottled with just 10 mg/L of sulphur, it shows lifted cherry and raspberry fruit, saline minerality, and precise tannins, with a faintly wild savoury edge.
