Jeudi 15 Rosso 2023 comes from 70 to 80-year-old bush-vine vineyards in MonteLaguardia, Allegracore, and Crasa after a difficult, mildew-affected season. It is based on Nerello Mascalese, with some Nerello Cappuccio and Grenache from field-blend plantings, fermented partly destemmed and partly whole bunch in open wood and mastellone, then aged in used 20hl oak before bottling in April 2024. The wine is more fruit-driven than the previous vintage, showing red cherry, strawberry, blood orange, white flowers, juicy tannins, spice, and mineral undertones.
