Palmento Rosso 2024 is made in the estate’s traditional Etnean palmento from organically grown field-blend fruit, predominantly Nerello Mascalese with small amounts of Nerello Cappuccio, Grenache, and indigenous white varieties including Grecanico, Minnella Bianca, and Uva Francese Bianca. The grapes are picked from high-altitude sites, partially destemmed, foot trodden, and fermented across qvevri, old oak, chestnut, and stainless steel before blending and bottling in early April 2025. Vibrant and juicy, it shows red cherry, wild strawberry, floral notes, fine tannins, and clear volcanic mineral character.
