Wine Sales (Shop + Horeca) · part-time (3 days/week)

We’re looking for someone to join our shop team 2 to 3 days a week. You will  be helping customers discover exciting fine and natural wines, focusing on knowledge and expertise to enhance the quality of advice.  You will become part of a small, driven team. You will then grow into restaurant and b2b sales and deeper involvement in the wine trade.

About Troppo Giovane:

Troppo Giovane is a fine and natural wine shop and import company based in Amsterdam. We import wines from France and Italy that we source directly from the producers. In our shop we curate a selection of the best from our own import but also from our colleagues, with a keen eye on terroir and the ageing process. We offer balance in the fine and natural wine segment while also keeping it casual and offering every-day drinkers in all styles.

What You’ll Do:

• Help customers in the shop with recommendations and purchases
• Handle sales and keep the shop clean, stocked, and welcoming
• Assist with online and restaurant orders
• Support in-store tastings or casual events
• Build relationships with restaurants and other wine businesses
• Learn and grow in areas like producer knowledge and the sourcing process.

What We’re Looking For:

• A solid base knowledge of wine, especially fine and natural wines
• Interest in wines from France and Italy
• Friendly, professional, and curious attitude
• Someone reliable and comfortable working independently
• Available 2 to 3 days a week (including one weekend day)
• Bonus: experience in hospitality, retail, or curating restaurant wine lists
