Australian native Patricia Nelson trained with Cantina Giardino and Le Coste after establishing her own winery. She makes “vini contadini,” honest peasant wines rooted in respect for the land, picked ripe with long macerations. She farms three vineyards on volcanic limestone and volcanic sand, with blends varying by vintage. We like the whites and macerated wines for their saltiness and energy, while older reds offer greater depth.
