Hand-harvested Dolcetto from old vines in Tagliolo Monferrato, fermented with native yeasts in vitrified concrete and aged in tanks. Sulfur only at destemming, none thereafter. Bottled by hand unfined and unfiltered the following year. 2020 was a balanced vintage after a hot, dry 2019. Generous fruit and finesse. Dark cherry and blackberry on the nose with hints of tobacco and dried herbs. The palate is structured but supple, with a savory edge and a long infused finish.
