Hand-harvested Dolcetto from old vines in Tagliolo Monferrato, fermented with native yeasts in vitrified concrete and aged in tanks. Sulfur only at destemming, none thereafter. Bottled by hand unfined and unfiltered the following year. 2022 was a hot, dry year, giving smaller yields and concentrated fruit. On the nose, ripe blackberry, dark chocolate, and wild herbs. Dense and rich on the palate but still fresh thanks to Borgatta’s trademark fruit infusion style.
