From a Chardonnay parcel planted in 2005. Directly pressed into large old oak barrels. Bottled after two and a half years. A cool glass reveals a round body with floral notes; as the wine warms, the volatile acidity is more present, showing a wine with structure built to last. With time, the fruit will recede and the wine will become even rounder and savoury.
