This 100% Friulano (formerly Tocai Friulano) is sourced from 60-year-old vines grown on ponca clay-limestone soils. Macerated on skins for 20 days and aged 30 months in oak and chestnut barrels, followed by 3 months in stainless steel, this bold orange wine delivers complexity and depth.
Candied orange, dried apricot, and ginger dominate the palate, complemented by deep herbal notes and a creamy, phenolic texture. A small sulphur addition (15–20 mg/l) preserves the wine’s integrity. Pair with bold cheeses or spicy dishes.
